Processing Instructions

• Unlike SAX, JDOM, and DOM, processing instructions don't really require any special treatment, classes, or methods.

• What should happen:

  • The getName() method returns the target.

  • The getText() method returns the data.

• What does happen:

  • The getName() method returns null.

  • The getText() method returns the complete content between the <? and ?>.
